The H1N1 flu vaccination is now available at select Cigna Medical Group and Cigna Medical Group CareToday locations.
If you currently are a Cigna Medical Group patient, you may call your primary care physician and set up an appointment with your doctor or your doctor's nurse for your H1N1 vaccine.
If you are not a Cigna Medical Group patient, and you are currently on the priority list, you may visit any CMG CareToday location near you. Appointments are not needed and CMG CareToday is open after work and on weekends.
In order to help determine if you or your child falls into a high risk group for the H1N1 influenza infection as determined by the Center for Disease Control, we will be asking you the following set of questions. If you are not considered high risk, we encourage you to call the Cigna Medical Group flu clinic hotline at 602.906.2750 to find out when and where people at lower risk might get the vaccine once supplies increase.
Are you pregnant?
* Intranasal vaccine for seasonal and H1N1 influenza should
not be given to pregnant women at any time during the pregnancy.
Are you a caretaker of an infant less than 6 months old?
Is your child or young adult between the ages of 6 months
and 24 years of age?
Are you a health care worker?
Are you between the ages of 25-64 and have a chronic health disorder or compromised immune system?
The H1N1 priority group will be expanded to include everyone as more vaccines become available. Please click here
to learn more about the H1N1 priority groups.
For most patients, the vaccine will be administered at no charge. If you are a CIGNA HealthCare member or covered under AHCCCS, you will receive the vaccine at no charge. If you are not a CIGNA HealthCare member, you will pay the $18 administration fee only. You will be given a receipt in order to claim reimbursement from your insurance carrier, should you be covered.
We encourage all Cigna Medical Group patients to make an appointment with their doctor or their doctor's nurse for the H1N1 vaccine.
For non-CIGNA HealthCare members, please click here to find a CMG CareToday location near you.
