Parul Agarwal, MD

Dr. Parul Agarwal, joined our Paseo Multi-Specialty Center in November 2011. Dr. Agarwal is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and will become an integral part of your total health care team here at Cigna Medical Group. Her goal is to keep you as healthy as possible by working with our specialties and additional health programs available to you as a Cigna member.

Dr. Agarwal brings to CMG experience from Maricopa Integrated Health System, where she observed inpatient internal medicine prior to becoming a Resident (PGY3) in Internal Medicine. Dr. Agarwal also observed at the Arizona Endocrinology Diabetes and Osteoporosis Center in Phoenix, where she enhanced her clinical knowledge in endocrinology cases.

Dr. Agarwal has several professional experiences throughout hospitals and clinics in India, including volunteer work at the Well Women Clinic at Bhagwati Nursing Home. She is fluent in both English and Hindi.

Majaz Khan, DO

Dr. Majaz Khan joined our Paseo Multi-Specialty Center in November 2011. He is board certified in Family Practice and will be providing comprehensive care to all patients over the age of 17. Dr. Khan will be an integral part of your total health care team here at CMG. He will be responsible for directing all aspects of your care and can connect you to extra programs that will keep you as healthy as possible.

Dr. Khan earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. He completed his internship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Khan completed his Residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, St. Francis in Jersey City, NJ.

Dr. Khan brings to us experience from his private practice at Western Arizona Family Practice. He served as the Medical Director at ABC Home Health in Bullhead City. He was also the Chief of Medicine, Chairperson of the Credential Committee and a member of Executive Committee at Western Arizona Medical Center. Dr Khan’s professional memberships include the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), American College of Osteopathic Family Physician, Arizona Association of Osteopathic Association and a lifetime member of the Association of Physicians of Pakistani descent of North America.

Manisha Nerkar, MD

Dr. Manisha Nerkar joined our Deer Valley Medical Office in November 2011. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and will provide comprehensive care to all patients over the age of 18. Dr. Nerkar will be an integral part of your total health care team here at CMG. She will be responsible for directing all aspects of your care and can connect you to additional programs that will keep you as healthy as possible.

Dr. Nerkar earned her Medical Degree at India Gandhi Medical College in India. She completed her residency at the Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Pennsylvania. As a student, Dr. Nerkar was ranked third in the Pre-Medical Examination in a class of 100 students. She was awarded first prize in the research projects presented on Annual Research Day at Episcopal Hospital, which were later selected for Poster Presentations at the Annual Infectious disease conferences.

Dr. Nerkar brings to us experience from various group-practice settings in Washington. She has special interest in chronic disease management-(especially Diabetes, Hypertension, Hyprelipidemia), Preventive Medicine, Women’s issues and she enjoys caring for the elderly. She believes in providing compassion thorough care and likes to help patients achieve their personal health goals. Dr. Nerkar is fluent in Marathi and Hindi.

Dr .Nerkar is married with two daughter. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, hiking, cooking and all aspects of music.
