Flu Shot Clinics 2008

Flu Shots Available at CMG Health Care Centers CMG hopes to "wipe out the flu!"

Flu season is right around the corner, time to get your annual flu vaccine. The CDC recommends that you receive a flu shot if you are:

  • Children age 6 – 59 months
  • Women who will be pregnant during the flu season
  • Anyone with chronic disorders of the pulmonary or cardiovascular systems
  • Residents of nursing homes
  • Persons who live with or care for persons at high risk
  • Persons age 50 years or older
  • Healthcare workers

If you have a regularly scheduled appointment with your health care provider during October, November or December you can ask to receive your flu shot at that time. You can also call and schedule a nurse appointment at your local CIGNA Medical Group (CMG) Health Care Center. Flu shots will also be offered on a walk-up basis at flu shot clinics during designated times late October to early December at CMG Health Care Centers throughout the Valley. Cost of flu shot varies based on benefit plan. Please contact CIGNA member services or your benefits manager for specific information.
