CIGNA Medical Group was started in 1968 by a group of nine internal medicine physicians operating out of a small office in Phoenix. Now, 36 years later, CIGNA Medical Group has grown from one small office to the Valley’s largest multi- specialty health care provider. We have 19 health care centers that stretch across the Valley from Sun City West to Gilbert with more than 400 health care providers, including primary care and specialty physicians, a nursing staff and a variety of other health care providers.
