No matter the amount, we all need exercise to be healthy. The body is a combination of body, mind and spirit; when you nurture these consistently, you begin to feel better. Our physical fitness programs are designed to help you reduce your risk of heart disease, osteoporosis and other diseases.
Tai Chi is the ancient Chinese art of relaxation and healing — recognized by medical experts as a practical, effective way to alleviate chronic pain, reduce stress, lubricate joints and fortify your immune system. You may find renewed energy and vitality through practicing Tai Chi. Great focus, awareness, balance and concentration will help you deal with life's challenges while bringing you into a state of inner harmony.
This multi-session class provides a gentle fitness program for the body, mind and spirit and is designed to increase balance, flexibility and strength.
This class is for our members who may have physical limitations, inadequate flexibility, lack of strength, balance, agility, and/or coordination. The traditional Tai Chi forms are modified, individuals in this class can sit or hold on to a table or chair without the fear of falling and still experience all of the positive benefits of Tai Chi.
This multi-session class is a follow-up to Tai Chi 1 for those who are ready to move on to the next level. You must complete Tai Chi 1 to enroll in this class.
This multi-session class is a follow-up to Tai Chi 2 for those who are ready to move on to the last level. You must complete Tai Chi 2 to enroll in this class
