Commissions

Licensing Requirements for Brokers & Consultants

As soon as you've met licensing requirements and your appointments are in place, please submit the following forms to CIGNA HealthCare Commissions Department. You can get these forms from your local sales office or CIGNA HealthCare Commissions Department.

  • Customer Acknowledgement Form (used for all funding arrangements)
  • Producer Acknowledgement Form (signed by broker/agent)
  • Producer Contract Agreement

Please keep in mind that we must receive the above forms before commissions can be paid.

Payment schedule

Commissions are paid twice a month based upon when the premium is received. Commissions are paid only when the applicable premium payment is received and reconciled.

You can help ensure timely and accurate commission payments by promptly reporting any change in address to the CIGNA HealthCare Commissions Department and to the state Department of Insurance. Broker of record changes (BOR) require newly completed forms (listed above). Please contact your Sales Representative for more details.
