What do I need to include in a new group submission?
You will need to supply everything on the Case Submission Checklist (PDF). The forms required are located in the Document Library.
When are groups of one eligible?
RSA 420-G:8-I-a of the New Hampshire Insurance Code limits open enrollment periods for small employers, who are self-employed individuals, to twice a year. Self-employed individuals are eligible to begin small group coverage on April 1st and October 1st only. Some self-employed individuals may qualify for a "special open enrollment period" other than April 1st or October 1st. For information please call a small group sales representative at 800.456.6575 to verify eligibility.
What are the submission deadlines?
Complete group submissions must be received by our sales office 15 days prior to the group effective date.
How do I get a preliminary rate quote for a small group?
CIGNA will produce a quote for all New Hampshire Small Group benefit options upon receipt of the following information:
- Group Name
- Group Physical Address
- Total number of workers employed at group
- Total number of employees eligible for coverage
- Total number of employees expected to enroll
- Completed Family Health Statement and/or Waiver Form for each eligible employee
When will renewal rates be available?
Renewal rates are mailed to the producer 45 days before the scheduled renewal date.
