Behavioral and Health Advocacy Programs to Move Under CIGNA Name

Integration with the CIGNA name creates one-stop-shop for members’ health and wellness needs

CIGNA is making important changes to clarify and simplify our business – making it easier to provide better service to customers and members. All products supporting the health advocacy strategy will now carry the CIGNA name.

The CIGNA Behavioral Health (CBH) and CareAllies brands will no longer be used in sales communications. The operations, expertise, and capabilities of these organizations will transform into a CIGNA business unit called Health Solutions, servicing CIGNA's health advocacy suite of programs and services. These programs and services include disease and chronic condition support, health coaching, behavior-change programs such as weight management, tobacco cessation and stress management, as well as mental health, substance abuse, work/life support and employee assistance.

The Behavioral Health divisional distinction and logo will no longer be used in communications. However, we understand that customers’ benefits strategies may encompass relationships with multiple medical carriers, and the use of the CIGNA name may be confusing to employees. Therefore, CIGNA will maintain the capability to brand member-facing communications as CareAllies.

Website content, links, and functionality will remain the same on the mycareallies.com and cignabehavioral.com sites. However, the cignabehavioral.com website now includes a new look and simplified login – users will only need their employer ID, which is communicated on member materials.

We are excited about this evolution. Behavioral capabilities are an integral part of CIGNA's health advocacy strategy, and we will continue servicing your business needs and the health and well-being of members.
