CIGNA Enhances Incentive Points Program

Program now offers more options to deliver motivation and drive active participation in health improvement programs

Changing unhealthy behaviors is the way to improve health, increase productivity and reduce costs. But how do you compel individuals to get started?

Whether a client has 50 or 50,000 lives, CIGNA's Incentive Points Program provides a turn-key solution to deliver the motivation required to drive higher participation in health improvement programs.

By linking over 20 of our industry-leading health improvement programs to a customizable program that rewards individuals, the consumer experience becomes more relevant, meaningful and effective in driving targeted behavior change.

By taking part in health improvement programs and activities, individuals earn points they can redeem for rewards of their choice including gift cards to retailers, travel packages, and donations to charity. They can also receive premium reductions or contributions to their health reimbursement account, health savings account, or Healthy Awards account.

As individuals actively participate in health improvement programs and earn points, they begin to see not only the point value, but also the health value of each action or activity. Additionally, your clients will be able to reward those who strive to maintain good health, in addition to individuals who already have a condition or a disease.

Talk to your CIGNA representative to learn more about how incentives can lead to healthy behaviors.
