Website makes benefits administration easy for employers

To help employees get useful information about how to meet their overall financial needs, CIGNA offers CIGNA Trusted Advisor®, a secure and robust website that provides people with resources for choosing life, accident and disability insurance coverage that’s right for them.

Through CIGNA Trusted Advisor® employees can obtain plan information, use calculators to determine their insurance needs, access life events information, enroll for benefits, designate beneficiaries, make life status changes, complete evidence of insurability for themselves and their spouse, and much more. This website is a complement to the online enrollment and decision-support tools CIGNA already offers for its customers.

To help employers focus less on administrative tasks and more on their companies’ strategic initiatives, we have a comprehensive suite of administrative services on our life, personal accident, and disability insurance products. Employers who want full administration can take advantage of CIGNA’s complete suite of services, which includes enrollment, billing, beneficiary administration, and more. Employers who continue to be self-administered can select from CIGNA’s optional services including beneficiary administration and conversion or portability notice distribution. Services are available to clients with more than 1,000 eligible employees.
