Time to Get out the Running Shoes, Get “Activated,” and Make Tracks for Falmouth!

Sponsorship to benefit Activate America YMCA program 

For the third consecutive year, CIGNA is the title sponsor of the CIGNA Falmouth Road Race, a seven-mile run through beautiful Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Once again, CIGNA will field a CIGNA Running Team – CIGNA employees, customers, brokers and representatives from community groups – who’ll represent us at the event.

Slated for August 10, the CIGNA Falmouth Road Race attracts some 10,000 top runners from across the country. Our participation in the race demonstrates CIGNA’s commitment to helping people improve their health, well-being and security, as well as the benefits of an active lifestyle and healthy living.

Each year, in conjunction with the race, CIGNA raises funds for an organization whose mission closely mirrors our own. This year, the principal beneficiary of our sponsorship – CIGNA’s charity of choice – is Activate America, a YMCA program that seeks to “address the nation’s growing health crisis by supporting all kids, adults and families in their pursuit of well-being in spirit, mind and body.”
