Many employers have the shared goal of empowering their employees to make more informed decisions about their prescription drug options. To help meet this goal, CIGNA offers a robust array of consumer decision support tools on the pharmacy section of myCIGNA.com, our secure member portal.

Members can log on to myCIGNA.com and select the Pharmacy tab to:

• research and learn about thousands of different medications through Drug Compare™  from WebMD^® (including side effects, potential drug interactions or contraindications)
• find out which tier their specific drug falls in and which generic and brand versions may be available through the CIGNA Prescription Drug list
• view specific details on their pharmacy benefit (including retail and home delivery copayment amounts or coinsurance percentages) for each tier of their plan
• obtain actual, out-of-pocket costs for their medications from over 54,000 retail pharmacies and the CIGNA Tel-Drug Home Delivery Pharmacy
• submit pertinent questions to licensed CIGNA Tel-Drug pharmacists via phone or e-mail
• access information on their past prescription fills including costs and dates of fill, as well as summary information for the selected time period
