Certified Hospital for Bariatric Surgery

If you are currently a participating provider in the CIGNA provider network and have a comprehensive bariatric surgery program at your facility, we welcome the opportunity to learn more about your program and to evaluate it for possible designation as a Certified Hospital for Bariatric Surgery. Requirements to qualify for this designation include:

Level 1 Full Approval from the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Bariatric Surgery Center Network (BSCN)

and/or

Full Approval from the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC)

and

Active status as a participating provider in the CIGNA provider network
Compliance with CIGNA's established clinical outcomes criteria
