Cigna Centers of Excellence

We evaluate hospital patient outcomes and cost-efficiency information through our Centers of Excellence program. We use this information to create hospital profiles, which contain information for up to 29 procedures and conditions. This information is available for most hospitals participating in our network.

The 2011 Centers of Excellence information is available in the online directory of health care professionals on Cigna.com, as well as our secure website for customers.

Please note that the existing 2011 profiles will remain in effect through 2012 and will not be updated.
