Sheila McGinley

Sheila McGinley is Cigna’s President for Government & Education business. The Government & Education segment was created to focus on meeting the employee benefit needs of states, local municipalities, primary schools and higher education employers. Sheila leads and manages strategy, sales, marketing, product and service operations for the segment to achieve membership and earnings goals.

Sheila joined Cigna in 1987, and has held a number of positions with the company including provider recruitment, network development, integration of Equicor and Healthsource acquisitions, as well as product management for a number of healthcare products.

She is the co-chair of Women’s Colleague Resource Group, a Cigna enterprise-wide employee group organized to address the business related interests of employee communities with common experiences and interests. These networked communities are valuable to employee engagement and professional development and actively foster increased cross-cultural awareness and leadership acumen.
