Proof of CIGNATURE-Rx Insurance Coverage

Starting January 1, 2006, members enrolled in CIGNATURE-Rx may begin using network pharmacies to fill their prescriptions. There will be instances when a CIGNATURE –Rx member has not yet received their ID-Card.

When a member has not yet received their CIGNATURE-Rx ID Card, there are two CMS approved letters a member may use for proof of insurance coverage until they receive their ID card (Samples are shown below).

1. Completed Enrollment Acknowledgement Letter provided to a member upon CIGNATURE-Rx acceptance of their completed enrollment.
2. CMS Confirmation Letter provided to a member upon CMS approval of their enrollment.

CIGNATURE-Rx members are being instructed to present this letter at the pharmacy until they receive their member ID card.

If a CIGNATURE-Rx member requests a prescription fill and does not have an ID card or letter, please contact CIGNATURE-Rx Customer Service 1.800.222.6700 to confirm insurance coverage.
