  • Prescriber NPI Required 
    Cigna requires an active and valid Type-1 National Provider Identifier (NPI), per CMS guidelines. 
  • Electronic Remittance replaces Paper Remittance - Beginning April 2013, Argus will discontinue providing paper remittance to pharamcies through the mail in conjunction with CMS Operating Rules. Your pharmacy will receive notification from Argus with instructions on how to create and manage login ID information. For 30 days after the notification, you will continue to receive paper remittance; however after the 30 days, Argus will no longer mail remittance advices to the pharmacy.
  • 2012 Medicare Compliance Attestation

  • Medicare Part D Standardized Pharmacy Notice and Instructions
    CMS requires that all pharmacies provide Medicare members with the Notice of Coverage Rights upon the following NCPDP notifications:
    - NCPDP Approval Code 018
    - NCPDP Reject Code 569
