Dr. Ed Tronick reviews medical content for Healthwise, a nonprofit organization with a mission to help people make better health decisions. Dr. Tronick is the Program Director of the Child Development Unit at the Children's Hospital, a Lecturer on Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School, and University Distinguished Professor at the University of Massachusetts in Boston, Massachusetts. His research goals include understanding the nature of the process of normal and abnormal developmental processes that are embedded in the emotional and social exchanges of infants and young children and their caregivers.
