Iron Deficiency Anemia

Iron deficiency anemia means that you don't have enough iron in your blood. Iron is important to help your blood carry oxygen to your cells.

Anemia can make you weak, tired, grumpy, and pale. Your doctor will probably have you take iron pills and eat healthy, iron-rich foods.
