Second Sight

Second sight is a temporary improvement in near vision (such as that needed for reading) in farsighted people that may occur during the early stages of forming a cataract. It occurs as a result of changes in the shape of the lens as the cataract starts to develop.

This improved vision does not last as the cataract gets worse.
