Dr. Thomas Emmett Francoeur reviews medical content for Healthwise, a nonprofit organization with a mission to help people make better health decisions. His research and clinical interests include developmental and behavioral pediatrics, pain syndromes in children, stress and coping in school-aged children, neurodevelopmental assessment techniques, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, psychosocial effects of chronic disease, suggestibility of children's testimony, and child and adolescent psychopharmacology.
