Who Is Affected by Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is one of the most common intestinal disorders, affecting about 7 to 10 out of 100 people in the world.1 But most people who have IBS don't see a doctor for their symptoms.

IBS is twice as common in women as in men.1
