Donald Salter never thought small differences would impact his health, lifestyle or career. While caring for his mother, diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, Donald's eating habits changed. His high-calorie diet, followed by excessive drinking after his mother passed almost killed him.
Carla, a Cigna personal health coach, contacted Donald and showed him that small healthy steps can lead to big improvements. "When we first went over his health issues he heard me, but sounded like he wasn't going to do anything about it," said Carla.
After Donald learned that it's not an all-or-nothing approach and started taking Cara's advice, he felt like tackling his health issues was much more manageable. Small changes empowered Donald to take larger steps to improve his weight, blood sugar and other health issues.
"The difference Carla's coaching has helped me make in my lifestyle and my career is tremendous and I only see things getting better for me," said Donald.
Thanks to Carla's persistence and tools she has to help coach her clients, Donald is able to live a happier, healthier life.
