For plans that do not offer group retiree health benefits, Cigna offers individual retiree programs designed to help your Medicare-eligible retirees transition smoothly into retirement. By endorsing a Cigna individual retiree Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, or Medicare Part D program, Employer or Union Groups can offer their retirees quality health care coverage with no increase to GASB or FASB liability. And Cigna manages the administration of the program - including informational mailings, customer service, communications needs and more - allowing Employer or Union Groups to stay focused on their business.

Cigna-HealthSpring is one of the country’s leading health plans focused on delivering care to the senior population.  With deep understanding of the Medicare market, Cigna-HealthSpring Medicare Advantage plans effectively collaborate with doctors to deliver improved results and enhanced customer satisfaction. Cigna-HealthSpring Medicare Advantage HMO and HMO-POS plans are available with or without integrated Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage.
