CIGNA Long-Term Disability Insurance protects your clients' association members
Here are our product highlights and features:
- eligible employer groups: association member firms with two or more employees (within eligible Standard Industrial Classification codes)
- benefit amounts: $50 to $6,000 per month (not to exceed 60% of earnings)
- benefit durations: five years or to age 65
- elimination periods: 90 or 180 days
- integration of benefits with Social Security, Workers' Compensation, etc.
- employer pays at least 50% of employee's premium; payroll deduction for employee's contribution
- a partial-disability benefit is also available
- definition of disability:
- "own occupation" for first two years
- "any occupation" in subsequent years
