Counseling services are not currently available for CIGNA Life Insurance Company of New York policies.

Accounts established in this program are called CIGNAssurance^®, are not deposit-account programs and are not FDIC-insured.

This service is available to beneficiaries who have received a life or accidental death benefit payment of $5,000 or more.

Phone and face-to-face counseling sessions must be used within one year of the date the claim is approved.

Payments under life insurance plans will include payments due to terminal illness, if your plan offers this feature.

The balance in the account is guaranteed by the insurance company.
