More information
Are there preferred and non-preferred pharmacies in the Cigna Medicare Rx network?
We have preferred and non-preferred mail-order pharmacies.
Preferred mail-order pharmacies are network pharmacies with which Cigna has negotiated lower costs than at non-preferred mail-order pharmacies. You will still have access to lower drug prices at non-preferred mail-order pharmacies than at out-of-network pharmacies. Your prescription drug copays may be higher than at a preferred mail-order pharmacy, depending on the number of days' supply your prescription is written for. You may use either a preferred or non-preferred mail-order pharmacy to receive your covered Part D prescription drugs.
Where can I get my prescriptions filled?
You will need to go to one of the pharmacies within the network, except in unusual circumstances or emergencies. Going out-of-network will cost more.
All you need to do is present your Cigna Medicare Rx prescription drug card at the retail pharmacy or send your card information to your mail-order pharmacy with your prescription. You can also get your routine maintenance prescription medications through a mail-order pharmacy, including Cigna Home Delivery Pharmacy.
Will I be able to get up to a 90-day supply of my drugs?
Yes. Up to a 90 day supply is available through mail-order pharmacies, including Cigna Home Delivery Pharmacy and most of our network retail pharmacies.

If you receive state help in paying for your prescription drugs: contact your State Pharmacy Assistance Program (SPAP) as they may have specific requirements that limit your Home Delivery benefit.
How will the pharmacist know what to charge me?
Present your Cigna Medicare Rx ID Card at the network retail pharmacy or send the prescription drug card number if you're using Cigna Home Delivery Pharmacy or another network mail-order pharmacy. Your pharmacist will be able to obtain payment information.
