If you are helping someone who is currently a CIGNATURE Rx member, you do not need to do anything for their membership to continue into 2007. If you are new to CIGNATURE Rx, continue below to look at our plans.
Follow these step-by-step instructions to make sure you are getting the information you need to help your parent, relative or friend make the decision that will best meet their needs.
- Plan a meeting. Set aside 30 minutes to an hour, either face to face or on the telephone.
- Gather information about the drugs they use. Use our online Savings Comparison Tool to calculate your potential savings
- Gather information about their current health care and drug coverage. If there is current prescription drug coverage, find out what type of coverage it is and who offers it.
- Make a list of any questions. Answers to some of the most common questions can be found on this site. Or you can call a CIGNATURE Rx representative at 1-800-735-1459. (TTY/TDD users call 1-800-322-1210), 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM ET, 7 days a week.
- Determine if they qualify for financial help. If your parent, relative or friend thinks they can't afford a Medicare prescription drug plan, there are programs that can help. Based on their income and assets, they may be eligible for programs that pay more of their costs. For more information, call
1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227). (TTY/TDD users call
1-877-486-2048), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
A member's premium will generally be lower once they receive extra help from Medicare.
The premiums listed on the tables below do not include any Part B premium the member may have to pay.
