University of Colorado Health and Welfare Trust
The University of Colorado (CU), University of Colorado Hospital (UCH) and University Physicians, Inc.(UPI) came together in 2010 and formed the University of Colorado Health and Welfare Trust (Trust). The Trust and the health and welfare benefits plans were created to help mitigate the rising costs of healthcare, tailor health plans to specific needs of our employees and their dependents based on data and evidence-based approaches to healthcare, and emphasize a commitment to wellness. CU, UCH and UPI encourage our CU Health Plan members to better understand their medical benefits, access the preventive care features of the plans and engage in opportunities for wellness.
