Everett Neville serves as executive vice president, strategy, corporate development and solutions, responsible for mapping the long-term growth strategy of The Cigna GroupSM. He brings together enterprise strategy and solutions to accelerate cross-business value creation through Cigna HealthcareSM and Evernorth Health ServicesSM. Neville is a member of the Enterprise Leadership Team of The Cigna Group.

Previously, Neville served as the company's senior vice president, value creation, where he leveraged his more than 20 years of experience with Express Scripts® to ensure a successful combination between The Cigna Group and Express Scripts, and launch the pharmacy, care, and benefits solutions provider, Evernorth Health Services.

Prior to the combination, he was executive vice president, strategy, supply chain and specialty pharmacy, and chief value officer of Express Scripts. Under his dynamic leadership, Express Scripts brought to market industry-leading solutions and strategies that delivered value to Express Scripts clients, members and shareholders, and helped to shape the rapidly evolving specialty pharmacy landscape.

Neville joined Express Scripts in 1998. He has held diverse leadership roles in several key businesses within the company, including Medicaid and Medicare, clinical program management, account management, health plans, and pharma strategies and contracting. His pioneering approach to pharmaceutical manufacturer relationships and negotiation led to novel solutions that lower costs while improving pharmacy care. A pharmacist by training, he was previously a regional director at Diagnostic, and a staff pharmacist in the University of North Carolina hospital system.

Neville holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of North Carolina and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.
