Rotational Assignments

Participants in the MLDP will gain valuable experience by completing three 12- to 18-month long personalized rotational assignments. Rotations are aligned to Cigna's growth strategy as well as each associate’s personal development needs and career interests. Areas of focus areas may include:

Career Tracks
Early Career Full-Time

3 rotations, 12-18 months each.

MBA Internship

A 10-week summer program for first-year MBA students.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three to four years of professional work experience that is applicable or transferrable to a career in marketing
  • Passion and dedication to become a marketing leader 
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across a matrixed organization 
  • Proven project management experience and attention to detail
  • Aptitude to work across a variety of functions and environments with a growth mindset
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Emerging leadership skills such as motivating others, organizational savvy, influencing, cross cultural agility, and strategic agility.
Undergraduate Internship

A summer internship from June through August for current undergraduates.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a focus in Marketing, Business, communications, Social Sciences, or related field
  • Desire to cultivate a career in the marketing field
  • Proven project management skills and attention to detail
  • Business acumen coupled with leadership, innovative thinking, and data driven problem solving skills
  • Aptitude to work across a variety of functions and environments with a growth mindset
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
