Watch our video to learn more about the Cigna Connect Network.

1. Is your doctor in-network?

Cigna Connect Plans require* that you select an in-network Primary Care Provider (PCP) to coordinate your care and refer to you to specialists. You'll save the most money when you use an in-network provider.

How to check if your doctor is in the Connect Network:

  • Go to: Cigna.com/ifp-providers
  • Enter your location, select your plan name, and enter your doctor's name
  • This "In-Network" symbol means your provider is in the Connect Network
    in-network for selected plan

If your doctor is NOT in the plan's network:

If staying with your current doctor is important to you, a Cigna health plan may not be the best fit for you:

  • Your out-of-pocket costs may be higher when you see out-of-network providers.
  • You'll need to find a new in-network doctor.

We recommend you visit Healthcare.gov to find plans where your doctor is in-network.

If you don't currently have a doctor:

Cigna will assign you an in-network PCP when you enroll in a Cigna health plan. You may change your PCP at any time after your plan starts.

If your doctor is in the plan's network:

Great! Cigna may be a good fit for you. If you enroll in a Cigna health plan, you can select this doctor as your PCP after your plan starts.

*PCPs are not required in Missouri, but are highly recommended.

2. Are your prescriptions covered?

Be sure any prescription medications you and/or your family are currently taking are on the Cigna Drug List.

If your prescriptions are not covered:

Your doctor may be able to help you switch to medications that are covered under Cigna's plans. However, if you do not want to switch medications, a Cigna plan may not be the best fit for you.

We recommend you visit Healthcare.gov to find plans that cover your prescription medication costs.

If your prescriptions are covered, or if you don't take any medications:

Great! Cigna health plan may be a good fit for you.

3. Do you qualify for financial assistance?

Depending on your household size and income, you may be able to qualify for federal financial assistance and save by purchasing a Marketplace qualifying health plan.

If you qualify for federal financial assistance:

Great! Cigna may offer a lower cost plan that fits your needs.

If you DO NOT qualify for financial assistance:

Don’t worry. You can still purchase a Cigna health plan and we may have plans that fits your needs.
