Change the location of the medicine in the mouth with each dose to avoid irritation.

The tablet will dissolve slowly over several hours. You may eat and drink with the tablet in place, but do not brush your teeth, chew gum, or wear an upper denture until the tablet dissolves. You may gently rinse with water.

With dry hands, apply the round side of the tablet to the upper gum, above the tooth to the left or right of your upper, front teeth. Gently press on the outside of upper lip for 30 seconds.

To remove the tablet, gently move it back and forth until it loosens, then slide it down your tooth to avoid scratching your gums.

If the tablet falls off, throw it away and place a new one. If it is more than 4 hrs before next dose, place a new tablet and change it again at your usual time. If it is less than 4 hrs until next dose, place a new tablet and skip the next dose.
