Global Healthy Workplace Awards And Summit
Dave Guilmette, president of Cigna's global employer segment, with our keynote speaker, Dame Carol Black, along with Jon Comola, founder of the Global Knowledge Exchange Network.
Identifying these winning healthy workplaces so that other employers worldwide can learn from them is especially timely, as a new global study by Global Corporate Challenge found that 86 percent of employees worldwide don't participate in their organization's wellness programs.
The Summit attracted more than 100 employers of all sizes, health system leaders, universities, NGOs, and world-renowned award judges and speakers amid a two-day Summit agenda packed with information on emerging and better practices for promoting workplace health - from addressing the aging employee population to protecting workers' mental health and fighting chronic disease the world over. Those presentations can be found below.
We would also like to congratulate the runners up: Technica International, American Express, and Johnson & Johnson.

The Global Healthy Workplace Awards is the only program dedicated to the recognition of practices and programs in the global workplace and the first to use the World Health Organization (WHO) Healthy Workplace guidelines. The Cigna Foundation underwrote the award program with a grant celebrating the 50th anniversary year of giving by focusing on global health.
