PITTSBURGH, November 20, 2013 - Cigna (NYSE:CI) is recruiting for approximately 150 new employees in the Pittsburgh area to join its health care customer service team. The company is hiring for management, training and customer service positions at its offices in North Fayette, Pennsylvania.

Cigna already has major operations in Pittsburgh, with approximately 1,400 employees locally working in the company's health coaching and case management center and in the Cigna disability insurance unit. The new job opportunities in Pittsburgh result from growth in the number of Cigna's medical plan customers nationally. Customer service associates located in Pittsburgh will work to assist customers from many different states.
Available positions will be posted on Cigna's website in the Careers section at www.cigna.com. In addition, in early 2014 there will be a career fair and open house for those interested in the new positions. The specific date, time and location will be announced in the future.
