We offer a variety of AEDP roles
A fully dedicated program director, who is also an FSA, will work closely with you in identifying diverse roles to develop your skills while providing challenging work and opportunities. While helping you grow into a business leader at Cigna, these work experiences will directly impact business results. AEDP members generally have three or four rotations lasting approximately two years each, in which they explore different product areas, business functions, and competency developments opportunities.
The Actuarial Executive Development Program offers a wide variety of core actuarial roles such as pricing, reserving, forecasting, and risk management across different product lines and segments. Additionally, there are several opportunities for actuaries to develop their core competencies in less traditional actuarial areas such as Audit, Informatics, Investments Management, Medical Economics, Operations, and Underwriting.
The opportunities don’t stop there. International actuarial roles, targeted at developing actuaries into leaders across Cigna's growing global businesses, are also available. To better help Cigna focus on “Going Global”, the AEDP offers various short-term and long-term international opportunities, which allow for even deeper cultural immersion with the partners we are working with, as well as leadership experience that will carry forward for the rest of your career!
The wide variety of roles for actuaries allow for the AEDP program director to customize a rotation plan that facilitates each members’ unique career goals.
