For the second year in a row, Cigna was named to the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices, with recognition from the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index and the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index. Launched in 1999, the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices are considered among the most important global indicators of sustainability leadership, evaluating companies on environmental, social and governance factors relevant to their industry.
Cigna Given Hunger Hero Award by Feeding Children Everywhere
Feeding Children Everywhere (FCE) awarded its Hunger Hero Award for Cigna’s annual Cigna Fights Hunger Campaign, now in its fifth year. Cigna partners with FCE in its hunger projects, where Cigna employee volunteers pack meals. The Hunger Hero Awards started as a way to honor those making a difference and to bring awareness to the issue of global hunger.
