Political Contributions

As a meaningful contributor to public policy debates relevant to Cigna businesses in the U.S., it is our practice to obey all laws in promoting our positions to U.S. government authorities and in making political contributions.

Through Cigna's Political Action Committee (which is funded by voluntary contributions by eligible employees) and limited corporate contributions, we support policymakers at the state and federal levels who believe in market-based solutions to issues of concern to Cigna businesses.

The Corporate Governance Committee of Cigna's Board of Directors annually reviews compliance with Cigna's Political Contributions/Government Contacts Policy and the contributions made under that policy during the previous year.
