    Employee Wellness Programs and Services

    By connecting employees with health engagement opportunities, you can make it easier for them to improve their total well-being while offering a more seamless health care experience.

    • Health Engagement Consultants are available to all new and renewing accounts with 51-2,9992 eligible employees at no additional charge. They will assist employers in guiding health engagement strategies to support healthy employee behavior and drive business growth.
    • Healthy Rewards® Program offers discounts on many health and wellness products and services to customers such as fitness, healthy eating, personal care, wellness, hearing, and vision.3 There are no claim forms or referrals.
    • Cigna Health Matters® Program allows employees to take a health assessment and track their health status, earn incentives, and receive health recommendations through myCigna.com®. Enhanced client reporting incorporates engagement data from digital tools.
    • Cigna HealthcareSM* well-being solution, together with Virgin Pulse (included for all businesses with 5-499 employees) is a program driven by empathy and AI to help employees build healthy habits, engage with friends and family, and improve their well-being.
    • Cigna MotivateMe® Incentive Program4 makes it easy for you to offer incentives to your employees while also helping them set goals to improve their health, track their progress, and earn rewards.

    Behavioral and Mental Health Programs

    Our Behavioral and Mental Health programs help you manage health issues and well-being concerns in your workforce before they become more serious. We provide coaching, support, and resources to assist employees in creating a strong mind-body connection.

    And when you include our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services, there’s a greater opportunity to improve employee well-being and productivity.

    Condition Support Programs

    Help support your employees' health journeys with programs tailored to their individual goals, conditions, and needs.

    • Cigna Health Advisor® Program identifies both at-risk and seemingly healthy individuals who exhibit unhealthy behaviors. Through one-on-one coaching, we guide customers to make lifestyle changes, close gaps in care, and help them choose cost-effective treatments.
    • Omada® for Cigna Healthcare5 is a digital intensive behavioral counseling program for customers with prediabetes or are at risk for diabetes focused on sustained weight loss. Participants are provided with a digital scale and work with a virtual coach to learn how to apply meaningful changes through lessons on eating, activity, sleep, and stress.
    • Lifestyle Management Programs provide support and coaching with a focus on setting goals, overcoming barriers, and providing the resources and motivation to be successful. Programs include online coaching or coaching over the phone for weight, tobacco cessation, and stress management.

    Care Management Programs and Services

    Care management services are available for individuals dealing with complex health concerns and high cost, high risk situations, such as traumatic injuries, high-risk pregnancy, chronic kidney disease, and oncology diagnoses.

    • Cigna Healthy Pregnancies, Healthy Babies® Program6 offers holistic clinical support to families during the pregnancy and postpartum.
    • Personal Nurse Advocates work one-on-one with the employees to identify ways to close gaps in care and improve health outcomes.
    • Screens for Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) needs such as access to medications, food insecurities and transportation, as well screens for possible behavioral health needs.
    • Our Cancer Support Program aids employees and their families with information and assistance from diagnosis to treatment to remission.
    • Cigna Health Matters Care Management is designed to deliver better outcomes and savings to the employee and employer. The customer may save $350 in out-of-pocket costs and may see a four-percent reduction in unplanned inpatient admissions by engaging in short-term case management.7
    • Your Health First® provides health coaching support for 16 common chronic conditions that can be impacted by behavioral change including asthma, heart disease, type 1 and 2 diabetes, depression, anxiety, and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

    Cigna Pathwell Bone & Joint® for Musculoskeletal Condition Support

    Cigna Pathwell Bone & Joint, a Condition-Specific Care program, will help employees with spine, hip, knee, or shoulder pain get on the right treatment path, reduce unnecessary surgeries, and reduce your organization’s spend.

    Employees will have access to designated providers who meet quality and cost criteria, a clinical navigation experience supported by a clinical care advocate that helps them make the right decisions about their care, and benefit design that rewards customers for optimal choices in their care.
