Positive Parenting Strategies for Challenging Behaviors
Date: September 8, 2022
Presenter: Courtney Gelinas, ABS Kids
Listen to the presentation
Challenging behaviors can be a big obstacle for children and their families. By using positive parenting strategies, families and caregivers can change the way children with autism react within their home and community. Integrating proactive strategies into daily routines along with techniques to manage behaviors when they do occur, can provide a roadmap to success. These strategies will also support the development of skills leading children to independently manage these behaviors in the future.
