Listen to the presentation
AUDIOFor children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and individual sensory issues or other special health care needs, the sensations and stimuli at a dental office may be overwhelming. However, making regular trips to the dentist is an incredibly important part of building a good oral health program for all children, not just those with autism or special needs. This presentation will provide tips for helping children with autism and other special health care needs to address dental habits and prepare for regular visits to the dentist, as well as steps to make visits as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.
