This presentation educates the audience on viewing eating disorder behaviors in a trauma-informed lens. We will be discussing what happens in the brain, understanding the eating disorder as a protective part, and exploring how other co-occurring behaviors can appear when we are treating the eating disorder. Throughout the presentation we will provide examples of adaptive coping skills that can help our clients long-term with recovery.
