Today’s presentation by Dana Andersen from Evernorth will discuss self-injurious behaviors among children. Why do children choose to harm themselves and is it a coping mechanism? The discussion will include patterns of self-injurious behavior (SIB), the different forms of SIB, and why a person tends to hide the injuries from others and what can be done to help them.
