AUDIOResearch estimates as many as 1 in 20 U.S. school children may have a Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). The objectives of this training are to define what FASD is, explain the importance of prevention by examining the impacts of prenatal alcohol exposure on a developing fetus, discuss common symptoms of FASD, and explore how FASD may affect individuals and families.
