Calming Worried Minds After a School Trauma

This presentation will address the long-lasting impact that trauma has on children. Dr. Purge will identify the risk factors and warning signs of trauma and how it impacts children at different age levels. She will also provide parents with strategies on how to talk with children about traumatic events and provide suggestions that will help children to cope, heal, and become resilient despite their traumatic experiences.
